Avidemux is an open source non-linear video editing application. It is a very popular video editing application in Linux based operating systems. This cross platform supported application requires very minimum harware and software requirement in order to install. Windows version of the software has Qt graphical user interface and the linux version is powered by GTK+ interface. This is a universal video processing program. Avidemux can be used for non-linear video editing as well as to apply visual effects.
